On the 5th September, our school came alive with enthusiasm and gratitude as we celebrated Teacher’s Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring the incredible educators who inspire and guide us daily. This day commemorated on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, serves as a reminder of the pivotal role teachers play in shaping the future. Teachers’ Day programme was held in the school premises joyfully. The auspicious occasion began by lamp lighting and garland offering ceremony to the portrait of S. Radhakrishnan by Principal, Mrs. Sonia Datta and staff members. Children showed their affection, regard, and respect for their teachers by presenting speeches, one poem on SHIKSHAK, making beautiful hand-made cards and by performing dances and songs to express their feelings.

The day was taken over by Std-5 students who went to all classes and played the role of a teacher. They conducted activities and played fun games as teachers. They also staged a presentation in which they enacted as teachers. The day was filled with lots of excitement, joy and happiness. Teachers were ecstatic for the appreciation and love showered upon by their dear students.
