ANNUAL FETE 19.10.2024

The 7th Annual School Fete took place on 19 October 2024 at Ramjas Primary School in Daryaganj under the great leadership of Principal Mrs. Sonia Datta. All day long, the parents and kids were enthralled with a variety of structured activities. The esteemed guests were the Honorary Secretary of Ramjas Foundation Sh. Atul Gupta, the Chairman of Managing Committee, Ramjas Foundation Sh. Vinod Kumar Gupta, Honorary Secretary of Managing Committee, Ramjas Foundation Sh. M.K. Chawla, Manager of Ramjas School, Pusa Road Sh. Atam Prakash Aggarwal, the School Manager Sh. Rajendra Mohan, the Education Co-ordinator of Ramjas Foundation Sh. J.C. Pahuja, Principals of various Ramjas schools, General Manager of Jain Community Sh. Satinder Jain and Member of Aam Aadmi Party Sh. Pawan Sharma were present to bestow blessings to our school children on this auspicious occasion. After the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Mrs. Sonia Datta warmly welcomed the esteemed guests with mementos as a gesture of appreciation and affection. The cultural event began with Lord Ganesha’s blessings through a vandana, followed by a captivating dandiya dance. The rich elements of our heritage were showcased through a ballet performance of the “Ramayana” by students of Std. V, which left the audience spellbound. The cultural programme concluded with a vibrant Rajasthani folk dance by the Std. III students, receiving much praise from the attendees. Both parents and children enjoyed the various fun stations arranged by the teachers. A variety of Chandni Chowk delicacies were savored by everyone. To further enhance the festive atmosphere, stalls offering painted diyas, hangings, handmade sweets and chocolates, and Indian handicrafts encouraged guests to indulge in some shopping. The highlight of the event was the much-anticipated lucky draw, with prizes awarded to the winners, marking the perfect end to the celebration. The entire day beautifully captured the spirit of festivity, leaving everyone with joyful memories.
