SCHOOL RULES

1. Since the school has its own philosophy, methodology and scheme of work on keeping with our national policy and latest development in educational world, the parents / guardians are not expected to force their ideas in these matters.
2. The school management is free to change any rules and introduce new regulations in the interest of efficiency, discipline and maintenance of standard which it deems fit. The parents/guardians are expected to abide by them and in case of any differences, if any, they will have to satisfy themselves with the Principal’s decision.
3. The parents/guardians are requested in the interest of their ward to maintain contact with the school through correspondence and meetings provided for on last Saturday of each month (unless otherwise specified). Any communication made by the parents should be addressed the principal and not to the class teachers. They can meet the principal any day during the working hours of the school.
4. The parents/guardians are requested to check the diary daily for any communication that might be addressed to them by the teachers concerned for their necessary actions or attention. Remedial measures should be taken promptly.
5. Parents attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of a teacher of the school in the presence of a child causes the child to lose his / her respect for the teachers. It will retard his/her progress.
6. Parents and guardians are not allowed to walk into class room or call to teachers during school hours. Teachers would only meet the parents during school hours with prior appointment.
7. Parents can meet the concerned teacher on any working day between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. without any prior appointment.
8. Children must come to school neatly and tidily dressed.
9. Students should never wear jewellery of any kind in the school.
10. Parents/guardians are requested not to give any pocket money to their wards. Children are strictly forbidden to buy eatables from vendors near the school premises.
11. Children must be in their respective classrooms at least five minutes before the first bell rings at 7:55 a.m.
12. Parents must ensure that wards attend school fully equipped with books and note books.
13. Parents must ensure that their children do their homework and prepare lessons daily.
14. Parents are expected to co-operate in the working of the school by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline, and by taking a general interest in their ward’s progress.
15. The school holds periodic tests. The report is sent to the parents/guardians to keep them informed of the progress of their ward. Parents are requested to sign the report and return them to the school within two days.
16. The promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s work.
17. The school arranges for a Medical examination of all students during the course of each academic year and report of the same is given for follow up.
18. Medical fitness certificates are necessary in case of absence due to sickness.

LEAVE RULES

1. No student shall absent himself/herself from the school without a leave application from the parent/guardian. He / She should submit an application on the same day or the following working day.
2. The parent/guardian should not come to request for half day or for one or two periods leave. If on a particular day child’s presence is required at home then he / she not be sent to school on that day. Request for short leave will not be generally accepted.
3. For long absence prior permission is needed. The name of student, who remain absent for six consecutive days without submitting leave application, will be struck off rolls with intimation.
4. The students falling short of the minimum 75% of attendance shall not be allowed to take annual exam.
